Cares for Kids helps children in Ghana, Africa.

Terry Ballantini, President of Telliss and board member of Cares for Kids served as a missionary through the Global Outreach Program to Ghana, Africa to spread the word of God to 20 different schools through “Your Book of Hope,” and provide much needed medical services to their local hospital.  Prior to the missionary group leaving, Ghana’s local hospital put together a list of medications that they were greatly needed, so Cares for Kids stepped in to provide assistance.  With only four days of notice, Cares for Kids collected and donated nearly 1,400 solid medications and more than 37 ounces of liquid medications for the missionary group.  Among the group participating was a physician and two nurses, who donated their medical services to Ghana citizens, using the medications that Cares for Kids had donated.
