New Shoes & Socks for US Children's Home

Cares for Kids delivered approximately 80 pairs of brand new shoes and over 100 pairs of matching socks for Christmas to Kids Hope United, a children’s home in Centralia, IL.  The shoes were donated to us from the employees at Stanley Assembly Technologies in Ohio.  Their desire was to provide a practical need to less fortunate children for the holidays, and reached out to us to fulfill those wishes. Coincidentally, when we delivered the shoes and socks, the children’s home informed us that they were throwing their annual Christmas party with the children later that night, so the gifts came just in time.  We felt blessed to be able to provide one more gift for each child for Christmas.  Most of the children there had about three presents each under the tree, and the majority of those gifts were also donated.
